Lovense Lush 2 Buying Guide

IS THE LOVENSE LUSH 2 RIGHT FOR YOU?

An honest guide to the app-controlled wearable — what the app actually adds, who the shape works for, and when to spend the money elsewhere.

A partner changing the pace from across the room, or across the country, is the Lush 2's whole pitch. It's a rechargeable silicone vibrator with a wearable internal shape, phone controls, custom patterns, and long-distance play. The short version: worth a serious look if you enjoy internal vibration and want a partner involved. If direct clitoral stimulation is your priority, the app, however good, can't make up for the contact the design doesn't provide.

The Short Version

Best for: people who enjoy internal vibration and want customizable solo or partner-controlled play.

Main strengths: flexible app controls, remote partner access, hands-free potential, and seven built-in modes.

Main drawbacks: fit varies from body to body, the external tail gives little direct clitoral stimulation, and it isn't silent.

Bottom line: a good buy when shared control matters more than simplicity.

Why the Lush 2 and not the newer models: Lovense now sells the Lush 3, Lush 4, and Lush Mini alongside it, and still lists the Lush 2 on its own site. The 2.0 works with the current app, costs less than the 3, and does the core job the same way — which is why it's a sensible entry point for app-controlled toys. If the newest hardware matters to you, that's a different purchase.

What It Does Well

The app gives you more control. This is the main reason to choose the Lush 2. You can adjust intensity, build repeating patterns, save favorites, and try music- or sound-responsive vibration. If preset pulses never quite match what feels good, there's room to find a rhythm that does. Sound activation works through the app, not the toy itself. For everyday solo use the simple intensity slider may be all you need; the rest is there when you want it.

Partner play without being in the same room. Long-distance control lets a partner participate instead of watching or listening. The wearer's phone connects to the toy by Bluetooth, and the internet carries the partner's commands, so the wearer's phone has to stay nearby even when the person controlling it is far away.

A wearable shape that frees your hands. The rounded body sits inside the vagina and the flexible tail stays outside. When the fit works, there's no handle to hold and no head to keep pressed in place, which is what makes it appealing for relaxed solo use or partnered teasing at home.

It works without the app. The tail button cycles through three speeds and four patterns, so you can use it as a plain vibrator without bringing a phone into every session. The app adds finer control; it isn't required.

What to Know Before You Buy

Internal doesn't mean clitoral. The motor is in the insertable body. The external tail isn't a dedicated clitoral vibrator, so don't read the curve as a rabbit with two powered arms. If internal vibration feels good but rarely gets you there on its own, plan to pair it with an external toy or your hand. If you want reliable contact in both places from one product, a purpose-built dual stimulator is the better buy.

The shape won't suit every body. A curved body that gives one person satisfying pressure can miss the spot entirely for another; in owner reviews, precise G-spot contact is the most common place it disappoints. "Wearable" also doesn't mean "comfortable for everyone": how it feels sitting, standing, and walking needs to be checked before planning longer wear. Snug underwear helps with placement, but comfort and stability are individual.

Quiet is not silent. Background noise masks it, but in a quiet room or at higher settings it can be heard. Nobody can promise that someone in the next room won't notice. For anyone sharing a home, a closed door and ambient sound matter as much as the setting.

The app is part of the purchase. Pairing and learning the controls takes time before the first session. If you want one button and immediate use, a simpler vibrator is better value. Treat your willingness to use the app as part of the decision, not an afterthought.

Care and charging. Use a water-based lubricant (silicone lube can damage silicone toys). Clean before and after use with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner, and dry fully, especially the charging port, before storing. Don't use it while charging. Lovense also says it's not for anal use: there's no flared base. If it'll sit unused for a long stretch, top up the charge every few months so the battery doesn't fully drain. Treat advertised battery life as a guide, not a promise for every session.

Who Should Buy the Lovense Lush 2

It's a strong match if you already enjoy internal vibration; you're a couple who wants to share control, nearby or at a distance; you want to build and save your own patterns; or you're comfortable with an app being part of the experience.

Pick something else if you want a dedicated clitoral motor or dependable dual stimulation, very precise and adjustable internal pressure, guaranteed-silent operation, or the simplest possible controls with no interest in connected features.

If the Lush 2 appeals to you but the price feels like a stretch, the ROMP Cello offers a lower-cost way to explore wearable internal vibration and shared control. Its silicone egg has six vibration speeds and four patterns, which you can cycle through using the included handheld remote or the button on the toy. You give up the Lush’s custom app patterns and internet-based long-distance control, but still get the option to hand a nearby partner the controls.

The Verdict

The Lush 2 makes the most sense when shared control is part of what you're buying. The wearable shape and the app give you ways to play with pace and anticipation that a basic vibrator can't. The open question is whether its internal sensation suits your body, and only you can answer that.

At $104 ($83.20 with code FALL20, or $78 on a first order), it's a good buy for someone who enjoys vaginal vibration and is excited by the connected features. If your priority is direct clitoral contact, spend the money on a toy built for that. If this sounds like your kind of play, shop the Lovense Lush 2.
